Alicia Meyers is a second-grade teacher and neurodiverse author based in Washington, DC, with over 16 years of experience teaching preschool through second grade.
She is the author of The A-to-Z Teaching Toolkit for Early Childhood and Elementary Educators (Routledge, 2025) and Tic-errific Me (Free Spirit, 2026), a picture book celebrating the ins and outs of Tourette syndrome.
Her writing has also appeared in High Five Magazine, SCBWI, Little Thoughts Press, The Toy Press, The Dirigible Balloon, Edutopia, Education Week, and McGraw-Hill’s Art of Teaching blog. She writes board books, picture books, decodable books, early readers, chapter books, early graphic novels, and educational material.
