Alicia Meyers is a neurodiverse author and elementary school teacher, interventionist, and ELA coach for grades K-5 in Washington, DC, with over 17 years of teaching experience.

She is the author of Do the Pasta Dance! (Highlights Press, 2027), Tic-errific Me (Free Spirit, 2026), The A-to-Z Teaching Toolkit for Early Childhood and Elementary Educators (Routledge, 2025), and an unannounced picture book coming in 2028! ◡̈

Her writing has appeared in High Five Magazine, SCBWI, Little Thoughts Press, The Toy Press, The Dirigible Balloon, Edutopia, Education Week, and McGraw-Hill’s Art of Teaching blog. She writes board books, picture books, decodable books, early readers, chapter books, early graphic novel chapter books, and educational material/guest blogs.
